- One of a series (ATCC 37624 through 37634) of Escherichia coli/Saccharomyces cerevisiae shuttle vectors for investigating control of expression in yeast. A 5.47 kb ClaI/BamHI fragment of YRp7 was ligated to a 1.35 kb Sau96I fragment of pBR325. Contains the complete bacterial cml gene. The depositor recommends using YRp7-17camp (ATCC 37630) as the reference for CAT expression and using the CAT assay methodology of Neumann, et al. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): SalI--7.0; EcoRI--4.6, 1.4, 0.82; PvuII--4.9, 2.05. (ATCC staff) Medium is 1227 LB plus ampicillin.
